DescriptionPlate of circular ogee shape decorated in sepia, gold, red, orange and overglaze blue, central roundel with sepia landscape of trees and four figures outside of a columnar building facade. The plate is from a service with a Philadelphia history of ownership.
Label TextFormerly in the collection of dealer and collector Elinor Gordon, the plate was exhibited at the State Museum of Pennsylvania, the MFA, Springfield, MA, and the Baltimore Museum of art. It is from a service with a history of ownership in 19th century Philadelphia.
