DescriptionPair of brass candlesticks of columnar form, each stem cast in two halves and peened onto cast bases. Each has a cylindrical moulded socket topped by an integral bobeche, set above a large, faceted knop, with a smaller one lower down the stem. Their slightly domed square bases have plain petals on the corners and concave panels in between.ProvenancePurchased from Bernard & S. Dean Levy, Inc. (New York, NY), on October 19, 1983.
