Label TextCeramic funnels manufactured prior to the mid-19th century are rare survivals. Depending on intended use, most 18th century funnels were made from metals such as tin and pewter or from glass. The Wedgwood Manufactory marketed numerous apothecary and hygiene wares in the late 18th and early 19th century for business and domestic use. This tiny funnel may have been part of a home apothecary or medicine chest.
