DescriptionGarniture: Three-piece garniture of one large and two small campaniform vases each on gilt square foot and rising to a flaring rim. The larger with gilt eagle handles and the smaller with gilt eagle’s head-and-ring handles, all interrupting a band of white beadwork. Each decorated with a green ground patterned with grey cailloute to mimic ray skin and reserved on the front with a pale, yellow-ground panel that is bat-printed in black with classical scenes. The larger vase with an equestrian warrior rearing above another crouching on the ground. The smaller each with a maiden before a sacrificial altar.
