Cloak would have fastened with ribbed silk ties as neck closures fastened to either side of the cloak opening just below the hood. The full ties are no longer attahced to the cloak although small remains of the ties remain attached to the garment. The cloak is piece constructed with double running stitch and 1/8" seams.
