DescriptionOvoid pot with flat base and cylindrical neck. Bluish tin glaze decorated with powdered blue; two large and four small shaped reserves each with flowering branches in blue.Label TextTwo recorded bottles and basins have the same shaped reserves on a blue ground filled with floral decoration, all similar to the decoration on this pot. The shape of the reserves and the color and texture of the powder ground are very like those on the London puzzle jug dated 1766 (CWF accession 1951-127).
