DescriptionSide chair: low back, top half upholstered in brown leather over the frame, trimmed with brass head nails. Back supported on stiles which are covered with brown leather across the front with trim of a double row of brass headed nails. Stiles continue downward to form square back legs. Rectangular seat frame upholstered in original brown leather and trimmed with brass headed nails. Stitched oval in center of seat with some origina leather washers in stitches. The front legs are turned in a combination of bail and ring, and square sections and end in worn ball feet. The 2 front legs are connected about midway by a stretcher of the same design. Single rectangular stretcher at back and 2 plain rectangular stretchers on either side.1650-1670
