DescriptionStraight top rail, rectangular in section, with chamfered front edges; square-sectioned stiles; rectangular cross brace two thirds of way down back connects stiles; upper two thirds of back stuffed and covered with original dark brown leather and fastened to frame with original brass headed nails; lower portion of stiles above seat covered with a light colored leather, also original; "square" seat frame upholstered over edges with similar leather and nails as back; two front legs formed in a combination of blocking and ball turning, terminating in button feet; rear legs, rectangular in section, are a continuation of the back stiles; spiral turned front stretcher; medial back and side stretchers, rectangular in section.MarkingsNone found
