DescriptionOne of a pair of plated with incised foot rings. Bluish tin glaze decorated in blue with a European landscape, buildings, and the inscription "Sarah Goulden Timperly 1757."
Label TextThis delft plate, one of a pair, is inscribed "Sarah Goulden / Timperly / 1757." The village of Temperley in Cheshire is not many miles from Liverpool, which suggests an attribution to that city.
