DescriptionTureen and cover: cast scroll-and-shell open handle centered on top of double-domed oval cover with gadrooned border between raised stages and a molded edge. Slightly-bellied oval body with similar gadrooned border at rim and inclined scroll-and-shell open handles placed at either end with elaborate scroll attachments to body. Four cast feet with elaborate scroll attachments to body terminate in a voluted scroll over a ball. Engraved with a coat of arms on either side of body and with 2 crests (an animal's head and a griffin sejant on a crown) on cover.InscribedArms of Duane of Lincoln's Inn, London, and of Ireland impaling those of Dawson, Monaghan, engraved on one side of body with crest on cover; arms of Hutchinson, Yorkshire or Durham or of Hutchinson, earls of Donoughmore, Ireland, quartered with those of Lawse, Forster, Bathurst, and Dawson, with those of Clarke of Knedlington, Yorkshire, quartered with those of Vavasour in pretense engraved on other side of
