DescriptionWomen's back lacing stays with stomacher shaped front, back-tied shoulder straps, They are half or partially boned and lace halfway down the front; naturalcotton bound with green silk ribbon; lining of white silk taffeta; Stays are re-covered and re-bound over the original textiles (woven diaper silk and linen lining).

Construction History:
1. c. 1775: Initial Construction
2. 19thc. recovered in cotton and rebound in green silk ribbon, shoulder ties and front lacing also replaced with green silk ribbons.
