Label TextFragments of delft plates painted with a peacock in the same colors seen on this intact example have been excavated in Williamsburg at the Coke-Garrett House (27AA.0273). Sherds of a plate of this design but executed in blue were found at Wetherburn's Tavern (9NA.1529).
