DescriptionRectangular straight-sided container with one large and 22 smaller round holes in a recessed top. Bluish tin glaze decorated in blue; on the sides, large floral sprays and an oriental figure holding a large "snub-nosed" bird; on the ends, a bird among reeds. Holes outlined with dashes.Label TextA similar "snub-nosed" bird motif appears on a delft punch bowl in the CWF collection (see accession 1958-539). The Liverpool attribution for this brick is based on the decoration.
