DescriptionMolded, soft-paste porcelain figure of a women, resembling Britannia. The woman is seated on a mound wearing a flowered robe with pink bodice. The floral decoration is painted and transfer-printed in overglaze colors. She holds in her left hand a medallion with a hand-painted, relief bust portrait of George II in profile. In her right hand is a shield of the great Union. Behind the shield is a figure of a lion painted with brown enamel. Her left foot is supported on a globe. The molded base has relief decoration of scrolls, painted with green and purple. Sitting on the base on Britannia's right side are trophies, a plumed helmet, cuirass, flag, spear, and a bugle.InscribedNo
