DescriptionSoft-paste porcelain coffeepot molded in relief with overlapping acanthus leaves terminating in six feet. The spout is molded and applied. The handle is molded to resemble bamboo. The domed lid has molded decoration in relief of overlapping acanthus leaves, a floral knop surrounded by leaves, and an eight-lobed rim. No color has been applied.Label TextAlthough several coffeepots (or chocolate pots) in this so-called strawberry-leaf pattern exist, examples are more rare than the tea-plant pattern, the only other recorded Chelsea coffeepot design.
