DescriptionPlain white pear shaped jug molded in relief with overlapping leaves of acanthus type, terminating in six stalk feet; projecting lip spout and simulated bamboo loop handle. Crown and trident mark in blue underglaze on exterior bottom.
Label TextExamples of strawberry-leaf molded jugs are recorded marked with the usual incised triangle (like that on CWF accession 1962-66), with the crown-and-trident mark (like this one), and unmarked. The other published strawberry-leaf jug bearing the crown-and-trident mark is in polychrome.
