DescriptionCylindrical jar with sharp shoulder, cylindrical neck, and knopped spout. Whitish tin glaze decorated in blue with standard trumpeting cherub cartouche and inscribed "No. 8." Base glazed.Label TextThis jar is unusual not only because it is cylindrical, but because it is a cylindrical wet jar. Moreover, the trumpeting cherub motif is not common, and jars inscribed with a numeral rather than the name of a drug are rare.
