DescriptionSilver beaker: Narrow stepped circular foot supports flaring cylindrical beaker with plain rimLabel TextThis beaker, engraved with the arms of the Randolph family, has a tradition of ownership at Tuckahoe, Goochland County, Virginia. It descended through the Randolph, Pleasants, Minor, and Ely families of Virginia. A pair of similar gilt-lined beakers of 1770-1771, possibly by Francis Crump of London, is engraved with the arms, crest, and motto of the Carter family and form part of the family silver at Shirley, Charles City County, Virginia.
