DescriptionCircular steep sided bowl on high footring, exterior decoration in blue, iron red and green, two horizontal bands near rim enclose floral motif, below is an abstract landscape and fisherman in boat.Label TextVariations of this pattern are found on different forms in delft, including mugs and London-shaped punch bowls. A saucer of this pattern, but in blue and white, is in the Bristol Museum. Portions of a plate and saucers that probably had the same pattern, some decorated only in blue, were excavated in Williamsburg at Wetherburn's Tavern (9NA.1526) and at the Prentis House-Russell House site (17DA.0805).
