DescriptionSaucer, circular with upward and inward curving sides on raised circular footring, interior decoration in blue, green and iron red, circular band of abstract flower sprays around edge encircling scene of fisherman in boat.Label TextVariations of this pattern are found on different forms in delft, including mugs and London-shaped punch bowls. A saucer of this pattern, but in blue and white, is in the Bristol Museum. Portions of a plate and saucers that probably had the same pattern, some decorated only in blue, were excavated in Williamsburg at Wetherburn's Tavern (9NA.1526) and at the Prentis House-Russell House site (17DA.0805).
