DescriptionTeapot of globular form over vertical foot ring with circular extruded handle and straight-sided conical spout and domed cover with turnip-shaped finial. With gilt band to foot and gilt "dentil" pattern to cavetto and collar, as well as to rim of cover and finial. With cool gray glaze over warm buff body. With overglaze enamels in black and green comprising three scenes. The first, on the top of the domed cover, comprising a landscape with tree and marsh. The second, on the body of the teapot, comprising man and woman in foreground sitting under a tree stump watching fisherman on a lake or river, with mountains and a house in the background. The other side with two men regarding a ruin before a mountain.Inscribedno
