DescriptionWoman's shoe, one of a pair, constructed of light blue silk taffeta lined with natural cotton. The uppers are bound and trimmed at the instep and heel with pale blue silk ribbon. Shoes are shaped with sharply pointed toes and tapered wedge heels 1/2" in height. Heels are wooden, covered in leather painted blue to match the fabric uppers. The bottom of the leather sole is stamped with a device consisting of four circles arranged in a diamond pattern. Shoes are "straights," with no difference between right or left last.Construction History:
