DescriptionWomen's shoe, one of a pair, constructed from yellow silk brocaded with pink, white, and green silk in a floral design, bound with yellow silk. Shoe is made with slightly pointed toe and straps (latchets) over a broad rounded tongue. Heel, 1 5/8" high, is shaped in modified wedge to create a low arch, so-called "Italian" heels. Sole of shoe has flower vase incised into leather. Shoe made with channel construction. Leather lining.Construction History:
