DescriptionAlbrello-shaped pot with cylindrical center and flared rim and foot. Bluish tin glaze decorated in blue and yellow with horizontal bands on upper and lower areas and a central band of stepped pyramid like forms separated by angled lines.Label TextAnother pot in the Colonial Williamsburg collection (accession 1977-375) is slightly larger and has lost its glaze, suggesting that it may have been excavated. Wasters of this type of jar, with the cylindrical instead of the waisted central area, have been excavated in London.
