DescriptionTapering cylindrical pot with everted lip and base and one large and three small drainage holes in the bottom. Whitish tin glaze decorated in blue with three horizontal panels separated by wide concentric bands: in the center, a stylized mimosa pattern, and at the top and at the base, a stylized Chinese border.Label TextMany fragments of delft decorated with the mimosa pattern seen here have been excavated in Williamsburg. Examples include sherds recovered at the William Finnie House (2BA.0608), the Coke-Garrett House (27AA.0249), the John Crump House-Burdett's Ordinary site (l7CA.OI45), and Peter Hay's Shop (llDA.OO35, IlDA.OO36).
