DescriptionCovered sugar bowl with blue-gray glaze over thickly potted white body. With irregular dark blue ground. The bowl nearly hemispherical with straight sides from vertical foot ring. The cover slightly domed with flower-form finial (heavily restored). The cover and bowl decorated similarly, each with three fan-shaped reserves and three circular reserves. The smaller circular reserves between the larger fan shapes. The fan-shaped, with the so-called "angry" or "disheveled" birds. All birds similar, with purple head, yellow body and tail and rust and pink wings with tonal dots. The birds against a background of green-ish foliage, outlined in black. The fans edged in a plain gold band, with several gilt foliage sprays. The circular reserves with moths, butterflies, and beetles in a variety of poses, but in a similarly restrained color palette.Inscribedno
