DescriptionFluted sauceboat, with scroll handle and long spout. Decorated with Asian flowers and rocks in famille verte colors. A formal border of green diapering with reserves for flowers inside the rim.Label TextAn extremely well molded and brightly painted example of the early work of the Worcester factory. This piece is quite rare, as it is one of only two known polychrome-decorated sauceboats in this pattern. The pattern, while not common, was more frequently used to decorate pickle dishes.
