DescriptionPlate: circular plate with trimmed foot ring and slightly upturned rim. The edge transfer printed in deep blue with a border of moths, ruyi symbols, clouds, fish roe, Greek key and cells mimicking hand-painted borders found on Chinese export porcelain plates of the same period. The cavetto transfer printed with bands of interlocking octagonal cells. The center transfer printed with a crown above a swag torse over the phrase "LONG LIVE THE / KING" all within concentric transfer printed roundels of two laurel branches tied with a ribbon and a bellflower border interrupted at the top and bottom by a circle with a six-pointed star.
