DescriptionPlate: circular plate with trimmed foot ring and slightly upturned rim. The edge transfer printed in deep blue with a border of moths, ruyi symbols, clouds, fish roe, Greek key and cells mimicking hand-painted borders found on Chinese export porcelain plates of the same period. The cavetto transfer printed with bands of interlocking octagonal cells.
