DescriptionMan's handkerchief: cotton printed: in the field is an equestrian statue of Napoleon on high pedestal carved with a relief scene of Napoleon as Emperor codifying laws, surrounded by females in togas. The pedestal is guarded by 3, differently uniformed, soldiers. The base of the pedestal is decorated with military trophies such as suits of armor, drums, cannons, spears, horns, cannon balls and tamps, gunstocks, etc, arranged around the monogram "N" and surmounted by a eagle. A series of borders is composed of 3 blue borders alternating with 3 borders patterned in anundulating lace-like motif in red and black. The outer border is dark purple.
