DescriptionStocking purse of green crocheted silk thread patterned with cream and peach flowers. The squared-off bag end is tightly crocheted and patterned with sawtooth bands of white and cream plants with peach flowers. At each lower corner of the bag is a pear-shaped wooden tassel or dangle wrapped with white and green silk. The upper portion of the purse is loosely crocheted in green with 5 white stripes near the top. At the top is a complex tassel consisting of silk-wrapped pear and ball joined by a knot of metallic cord. Opening slit measures 3 1/4" long.
