DescriptionChild's bodice or jacket of green silk brocaded with silk and silver in floral design with self-color floral sub-pattern in supplementary wefts. Bodice has low neckline and front closure with 14 (7 pairs) of hand-worked eyelets ending at waist, with tabs below waist bound in salmon silk; tabs extend around to back. 3/4 length fitted sleeves, curved over elbow. Back fitted, with center seam and evidence of alterations to make garment larger. Brown linen innerfacing at center fronts. Cream linen and silk lining fragments remain; rest cut out.
