DescriptionTextile document block printed in a striped undulating floral design in madder colors (red, pink, orange, gold) with overprint green and pencil blue. One selvage present; other side cut. Seamed by machine (at later date).Label TextThis printed cotton is the same pattern as that used as an appliqued band on a quilt made in Petersburg, Virginia (acc. #1991-645). Purchased printed yardage in this pattern was cut out around the flowers and stitched to the surface of the quilt, omitting the fine vines and tiny flowers.
