DescriptionWoman's stomacher of silk needlework on linen quilted with silk back stitches with yellow silk cord overlay; yellow tape trim, and a silk lining. Design consists of asymmetrical flowers and leaves worked in polychrome silks, against a background of parallel curved lines. Six tabs at waistline. Wide linen border without tabs for pinning into garment. Hand-worked thread eyes worked into left side (probably modern.) Lined with ribbed silk.Exhibition(s)
