DescriptionA gauntlet, or cuff from a glove, constructed of tapestry woven silk and silver thread. This fabric includes depictions of six birds, and a floral and leaf motif in blue, green, yellow, pink, and red. The gauntlet is trimmed with silver bobbin lace and silk ribbon, cut into tabs and secured onto the piece with a whip stitch. The gauntlet is lined with silk.
