DescriptionWoman's white apron of semi-sheer cotton tabby, embroidered with white linen in a design of linear scrolling flowers and leaves, bordered on three sides by 2 3/4" wide scalloped edging, also embroidered with similar flowers. Ruffle is flat or ungathered along sides and bottom, but gathered at corners. Apron gathered to linen tape forming waistband. Stitches: darning (running stitch through gauze ground); drawn work fillings; satin stitch.
