DescriptionWoman's shoe, one of pair of "straights," constructed from cream silk brocaded in a pattern of small-scale red and green floral sprigs within reserves, with pionk and cream zig-zag lines in the ground between the sprigs. Shoe has slightly pointed toe and straps (latchets) for fastening with a removable buckle over a peaked tongue. The 2-inch high heel curves down to a small tip. Lined with leather and linen.Construction History
