DescriptionSide chair has plain yoke cresting with rounded ears; supported on stiles which are flat on front and rounded at rear; vertically pierced splat set into molded shoe; "square" seat frame with molded edge fitted with replacement slip seat; supported on four legs, "square" in section and chamfered on inside edges; front legs molded on outside edge; rear legs flare slightly to rear; braced by four rectangular stretchers - two side, one rear and one medial.This chair has two slipseats, A & B; A is currently installed
Markings"VI" carved inside back rail of one chair; "III" carved on back rail of other.
