DescriptionWoman's petticoat of cream silk tabby weave, quilted to glazed wool backing with running stitches; woolen batting. Design consists of 7" border around hem featuring sunflowers, tulips and roses; above that, rows of scallops to within 12" of waistband. Pleated to tape waistband, tying on one side.Construction History
1. 1760-1780: Initially Constructed
2. 1955: Sent to Ernest LaNano for repairs. Replaced waistband, repairing splitting areas at top.
