DescriptionWoman's petticoat of cream silk satin, quilted with running stitches to cream-color glazed worsted back and wool batting. Quilted design has horizontal bands of diamonds and "football" shapes alternating with undulating vines above. Above the lower border are large fan shapes moving into inverted scallops across the upper 2/3 of the garment. Glazed worsted lining seams are overlapped at selvages and stitched with running stitches.Construction History:
