DescriptionQuilted petticoat, missing waistband, of yellow silk, quilted with running stitches in border design of large diamonds filled with tulips and other flowers, large curving leaves, rosettes, and hearts. Upper portion of petticoat is quilted in diamonds with double lines. Quilted to glazed worsted back with thin woolen batting. Dipped at center front and back, the dip filled in with fabric.Construction History:
1. 1760-1780: Initial Construction
2. It was patched and repaired at a later date and the hem binding was replaced
