DescriptionDeep-dished plate without a foot ring. White tin glaze decorated in blue, red, and mixed green with a half-length portrait of Queen Anne surrounded by concentric bands and a red and blue border of intertwined scallops. Inscribed "A R"Label TextThe Bristol attribution for this plate is based on its shape. Fragments of this ermine-like border have been excavated at Limekiln Lane in Bristol and from a plate painted in blue with a peacock at an unrecorded site in Williamsburg (99Z-0336).
