DescriptionSide chair, splat-back; serpentine cresting rail with molded "C" scroll along uppper edge Shaped stiles molded in front, rounded in back. Vertically pierced vase-shaped splat with carved ribbon and pendant tassel at top. "Square" seat frame molded on upper edge. Front legs "square" in section, flaring out at back. Four rectangular stretchers: two side, one medial and one rear.

Woods: Mahogany, yellow pine slip seat. Mahogany throughout except for modern white pine corner blocks. Slip seat frame of southern yellow pine (by microanalysis 5-20-13), with modern layer of tulip poplar
