DescriptionTortoiseshell creamware plate with scalloped and barbed rim press-molded with panels of fretwork alternating with narrower herringbone and basketwork panels, all separated by foliate scrolls, the front splashed in pale manganese-brown with splotches of teal-blue, yellow, ochre and green, and the reverse sprinkled in manganese-brown.
