DescriptionCream pot: Square foot with stepped circular juncture and long tubular neck with band supports helmet-shaped body with everted pouring lip. High loop handle with single rib and serpentine-shaped upper juncture tapers to slender point with single bead at lower juncture. Outer edge of lip, juncture of body and stem of foot, circular stepping and edge of square foot all engraved with wriggle work lines and swags
InscribedEngraved in sprigged script "MA" in enbellished oval under lip
MarkingsMarked in relief in rectangle on side of foot: "W.A.WILLIAMS". Mark is double-struck and very worn
