DescriptionPetticoat of heavy white silk woven with metallic silver gilt extending from selvage to selvage creating design of 3/16" dots, matching gown #1. Petticoat has four swags of silver lace sewn to the front and a bottom edging of silver lace. Petticoat not pleated in front, but constructed in flat panels with wide extensions at hips that radiate at the top near the almost-horizontal pocket slits. Back opening with replaced linen tie. Hem faced with narrow silk ribbon.
