DescriptionPlane of standard rectangular shape with a recut sole. A working life 2 ¼” repair to the front of the sole is secured to the plane with two nails. The top and side edges have narrow flat chamfers that terminate with lamb’s tongue cuts on the far side, while the discharge chamfers have been altered. Fitted with a sharpened iron and wedge with a slightly relieved round finial and simple single curve notch.MarkingsI*NICHOLSON / IN / CVMBERLAND
