DescriptionArmchair; serpentine crest rail with bead along top edge with nubs above widest portion of splat terminates in trifid ears; interlaced Gothic splat with carved shell at top, centered on crest rail, carved C scrolls outlining upper three fourths of splat; three vertical bellflowers descend in ascending size at center of splat above quatrefoil motif surrounded by carved ruffles; stiles flat on front face, rounded on rear; trapezoidal slip seat; slightly undercut front and side rails over front cabriole legs and ball and claw feet and rear stump legs; serpentine, shaped, out curving arms terminate in volutes and supported by C shaped arm supports attached to the outside of the side seat rails.
