DescriptionWaistcoat front sections: floss silks (tan, brown, yellow-greens, mauves, blue-greens, corals, dark-red, ivory and black) in satin stitch embroidery on heavy ivory satin ground; pattern of undulating thick stem with tendrils, bearing exotic flowers and leafy sprays, with straight red line and row of black stars along outside edge of each waistcoat -front and pockets. Pieces have, at sometime past, been shaped into a small apron, becoming stained and split.1790-1820
