DescriptionBowl with cylindrical foot ring, but with less steep sides, wide sloping rim has a round depression for soap, large cutout arc, and two holes pierced at rim. Whitish tin glaze decorated in blue; on the rim two razors, flowers, and swags and leafage encircling soap indentation and cutout arc; in the well, two pairs of scissors, two additional razors, and a razor case.Label TextThe late attribution of this basin is based on the flowers and swags, which relate to examples of later delft. Razor cases are not usually illustrated on these bowls.
