DescriptionSteep-sided bowl with cylindrical foot ring; wide sloping rim has a round depression for soap and a large cutout arc. Whitish tin glaze decorated in blue: on the rim, floral sprays; in the well, two combs, scissors, a razor, and a brush.Label TextThe lineal quality of the rim decoration is related to that on the interior of a powdered-ground punch bowl in the CWF collection (accession 1960-841) and to the red decoration on a London sugar dish (accession 1964-442).
